Meet our BTP team!
These are the people who help make it happen at BTP. We are so grateful for all of them!
Amber Pierson + Mary Poole:
We are the mother-daughter team who had the idea of creating BTP after the birth of Amber’s son and Mary’s grandson, Kai. Mark and Mary Poole owned an existing building and part of a cheerleading program that provided the space for the play gym to exist. With Amber’s background in education, her parents entrepreneurial experience and support of her husband, Danny, they were all able to collectively make this dream a reality!
This little fighter was the whole reason Amber and Mary even decided to take on such a huge adventure. He’s faced several challenges since birth in his short life already but continues to push on. We know there are several other children out there, just like Kai, who are going through medical challenges, experiencing delays or disabilities who all deserve a safe and fun place to play without judgement.
You may see her teaching mommy + me or preschool classes or even working a birthday party. Daughter of co-owner, Mary and sister of co-owner, Amber, it’s a family business! She is currently a student at Ohio State University in Child & Youth Studies. Her plans in the future involve working with children and in her free time she can also be seen scooping ice cream at Whits, cuddling her nephew, Kai, spending time with family and friends or listening to music!
When you have a birthday party at BTP, there is a good chance you will see Hannah. She is cousins of Amber and Kristen, so BTP really is a family business! She currently works part time cleaning houses and hopes to start cosmetology school soon to pursue a career as an esthetician. She has a daughter who also loves spending time at BTP and in her free time she enjoys being with friends and family!
Staci is a 3rd grade teacher and also has experience coaching cheerleading and teaching tumbling classes. She has her own little girl who loves spending time at BTP! She loves kids and loves getting to know the families at the playnasium. Staci helps with some of our weekend open plays, private play dates and birthday parties! You may even catch her teaching a tumbling class or two!
Montana goes to school at OSU and is a 4tht grade teacher and coaches competition cheer at Ohio Elite. She loves kiddos, they are her whole world! Her favorite food is Mexican food and all she wants to do is travel the world. If you’re having a birthday party at BTP, there are good chances you will see Montana!
Kim is a mother of 4 and grandma of 11. She had an in home daycare for over 15 years and is currently a nanny. She has coached soccer, baseball and softball and taught mommy + me programs at a dance studio. I did kid art classes and birthday parties at Joann’s. Needless to say, she loves working with children! You can find her teaching a lot of our Mommy + Me and Preschool tumbling classes. You might also catch her working an occasional open play, birthday party or future art classes!
